Minutes from May 18, 2026, 3 abstained to approve the minutes as they weren’t in attendance at our May 18, 2026, meeting, Westhampton, Chesterfield (John Chandler) and Huntington (louis Purington). Approved by Chesterfield (peg Whalen), Cummington (James Wittereau), Goshen (Marya Zilberberg), Plainfield ( Jack Nelson), Williamsburg ( Rusty Luce), Worthington ( Charley Rose).

· Guest speaker Eli Smith, Compost Cooperative, owner presented services that his company and team can provide for transfer stations. Eli discussed the process of the composting system.

· Linda distributed some general information regarding future for Food waste diversion programs.

· Linda updated the Board on the SMRP/ RDP grant applications and drop off equipment grants.

· Update on Bay state books

· CFC recovery will be scheduled for All towns. This will be conducted by Interstate refrigerant.

· Container inventory is taking place with Waste Management.

· Linda reviewed MassDEP and NLR lithium battery program with the towns. Linda Will request kits for the Towns and attend training.

· CMRK accepts small household goods from Towns, they must be boxed up and CMRK would need to be notified that you have a pickup.

· Discussions regarding pre-inspections and Third-party inspections.

· Under announcements Thank you letter from Hilltown CDC from our shredding event.
